We want to help make measurable change in the world as we live out the prayer from Jesus that invites us to pray for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Click below for a list of the organizations and events we support in many different ways at SEP and ways you can get involved.
Purchased invests in youth through educational opportunities, empowering them rise to the challenge to be allies against sexual exploitation and collaborates with organizations to provide survivor support. Purchased also facilitates events to raise awareness and educate people about modern day slavery, and inspire them to join in the abolition movement. The more people we can get involved in the abolitionist movement, the bigger an impact we will make. If your heart has been stirred for those caught in sex trafficking, we invite you to join us in the fight. After all, God calls us to be part of the solution.
To learn more about purchased and to get involved visit www.purchased.org.
We have a store on CafePress where you can get Southeast Project t-shirts, sweatshirts, and more. Every dollar above cost goes to Purchased to aid in their fight against modern day slavery. Check out the store at www.cafepress.com/thesoutheastproject
We give $1.20 to a program called WaterStep for each first time guest we have at The Southeast Project. Maybe you have been, or soon will be, one of those guests. If so, thank you. For $1.20 WaterStep is able to bring clean water to one person in our world for an entire year. That’s right, an ENTIRE YEAR! That clean water represents life and health for that individual.
In addition to support of WaterStep through our guest initiate, we occasionally participate in collecting shoes for their “shoes to water” program.
If you would like to learn more about WaterStep and additional ways to get involved, check out their website at www.waterstep.org.
God’s Bounty is a not-for-profit food pantry that exists to distribute food to the needy in Franklin Township, Marion County, Indiana and surrounding area. Their purpose for distributing food is to provide supplemental food to clients who are having difficulty providing food for their families.
We have food drives at SEP for God’s Bounty but also encourage small groups and individuals to collect food for the panty. You can find donation times and needs on their website at www.godsbounty.org.
