Join Southeast all month long to celebrate the birth of Jesus and the joy found in God’s gift of hope. Our Christmas teaching series continues on Sunday, December 10th, at 11AM at Bunker Hill Elementary as we continue to look at the familiar yet incredible story of the birth of Jesus. We will learn how the pieces we often overlook make the story as we know it even more amazing. Keep scrolling for more information about some of the ways we’ll be celebrating Southeast style!
Southeast is teaming up with Red Line Frozen Treats on December 9th for our annual Santa on the Subway event! Kids (or you, if that’s your thing!) can get a free picture with Santa without having to brave the crowds at the mall. If the weather cooperates, we’ll even have an outdoor train! This event is always a good time, so be sure to invite your neighbors and friends to join in the fun! Red Line is located at the corner of Arlington and Stop 11.
We love to have fun, and there’s probably no better example of this than our Spontaneous Christmas Pageant! Join us at Bunker Hill Elementary at 11am on Christmas Eve to witness the spectacle of kids with no lines and no rehearsal as they are guided through telling the story of the birth of Jesus.
Children in the preschool (age 3-5) and K-5th age groups are welcome to participate. Parts will be handed out in the cafeteria at Bunker Hill Elementary starting at 10:30am, and the first 50 kids in line are guaranteed a part! You don’t want to miss this unique way for your family to celebrate on the morning of Christmas Eve!
